Deerfoot IT Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Quant Analyst to join an international banking group on a contract basis. This full-time Quant Analyst role is based in London and offers a day rate of up to £886.62 (inside IR35) and hybrid working.

As a Quant Analyst, you will provide quantitative support to two derivative trading desks covering predominately Interest Rate Derivatives (IRDs) and Credit Default Swaps (CDS).

In your first few weeks in this Quant Analyst role, in addition to providing Quant support, you can expect to work on:

  • Valuation Queries
  • Impact Advice on Changes
  • Explain Risk on Portfolios
  • Profit and Loss (PnL)
  • Model Variation

To apply for this role you should be able to ‘own the number’ (for example, being able to clearly explain why if a risk number of 100 is showing, why it is 100 and not 120) You'll also require:

  • Experience in code libraries, ideally C# or C++ or other OO-based language
  • Relevant experience
