2nd-Line Support Engineer – (6 months FTC) | Salisbury | Up to £31K + Benefits
Are you an IT professional with experience in 2nd-line support? Deerfoot Recruitment is helping a dynamic and collaborative company hire a full-time 2nd-Line Support Engineer with a competitive salary of up to £31,000 and a generous benefits package.
As a 2nd-Line Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the ongoing support of IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Managing Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO) and maintaining system security.
- Providing expert support across Exchange, Office 365, and tools like Teams, Planner, and SharePoint.
- Supporting large infrastructure projects and handling IT support tickets efficiently.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with Active Directory (including DNS, DHCP, GPO).
- Skills in software and hardware installation & configuration.
- Exchange & Office 365 expertise (Teams, Planner, SharePoint).
- Proficiency in maintaining system security and device management.
- Excellent IT support ticket management experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or Security qualifications.
- Exposure to SQL and ITILv3.
- MCDST certification.
