Our client, a leading financial institution with EMEA headquarters in London, is seeking a contract Business Manager / Analyst to join its innovative team within the Office of the COO and play a central role in supporting the operations and strategy of a 1,200-strong technology department. You can expect variety and challenge as you engage in key initiatives within this dynamic technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the COO in managing day-to-day operations and supporting strategic projects within the technology department
• Support the COO by overseeing and providing project support and analysis on high-impact projects, including tracking milestones and ensuring timely delivery
• Conduct analyses on trends within the technology department (recent examples include return-to-office and corporate social responsibility initiative tracking)

Key Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience as a Business Manager (or similar), ideally within a technology department.
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Awareness of technology departments and the functions that sit within them
• Understanding of / Experience within financial institutions
