IT Business Analyst

Full-time (4-day work week can be considered) 

£55,000 + up to 15% bonus + a comprehensive benefits package

The Role

 

In this position, you’ll join a small and friendly IT and Digital Delivery team, where you’ll work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. Your contributions will genuinely make a difference, and your responsibilities will include:

 

- Supporting business stakeholders with care and understanding

- Gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements thoughtfully

- Producing and managing documentation and project plans that drive success

- Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Our client are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who understands the value of empathy in a professional setting. The ideal candidate will bring:

 

- Experience in a similar role

- Background knowledge within the UK insurance sector (travel, general, life/medical)

- A technical foundation, allowing you to bridge gaps effectively

- Proficiency in MS Office 365, Visio or similar tools, Teams, SharePoint, wireframing, and graphic design tools

- A proven record of producing high-quality functional and non-functional requirements for software development and IT projects

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to express ideas and insights clearly

- An understanding of the software development lifecycle

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, valuing diverse perspectives

- Skills in creating business system documentation with clarity

- Strong business acumen, coupled with a genuine desire to understand the needs of others
